Optimization Study on Stirring Process for Si C-Al_3Ti Synergistically Enhanced 7075 Aluminum Matrix Composites

Abstract:
The Si C-Al3Ti co-enhanced 7075 aluminum matrix composites were prepared by liquid stirring casting method.The effect of stirring temperature,stirring speed and stirring time on distribution and yielding rate of Si C and Al3Ti and the hardness of composites were analyzed by using OM,XRD,SEM,direct reading spectrometer and bush hardness tester.The results show that the optimum stirring temperature,stirring speed,and stirring time are 800℃,450 r/min,and 20 min,respectively.
