Abstract：
The structure and application of a submerged arc surfacing device for extruding roll in a roller press were introduced. The results show that the device can realize heating, surfacing welding, heat preservation, continuous removal of welding slag and other processes. It has been successfully applied to the continuous submerged arc surfacing welding on the surface of extrusion roll of roller press in mining and metallurgical industries.
