Abstract：
Introduces the process characteristics and advantages analysis of electric arc furnace and intermediate frequency furnace dual melting production of iron castings.The melting process and characteristic requirements of electric arc furnace and intermediate frequency furnace are analyzed.Combined with the advantages of them,the environmental protection,energy saving,production cost and casting quality are analyzed in detail.This process has the advantages of large amount of iron water treatment,accurate composition,high purity of hot metal,excellent metamorphic foundation etc.The feature of compatible with mass production and single piece small batch production,is a new technology to realize green,energy saving and intelligent casting in the future.
