Abstract：A closed impeller casting process for aluminum alloy based on numerical simulation and 3DP sand mold was proposed.The filling and solidification processes of the two processes were compared by numerical simulation software,and the process design was optimized.The 3DP sand casting process was used to produce the castings.The size of the casting was scanned by laser and the internal quality of the casting was detected by X ray.The results show that the standard aluminum alloy impeller castings are cast and rapid casting is realized.
