Abstract：Analyzed the SCR copper rod production line working condition limit of size casting wheel and the main technical requirements, it studied the casting wheel defects existing in the operation of small sizes, it put forward the corresponding key technology of process improvement and control, it successfully solved the poor quality of copper rod become the “bottleneck” restricting production technology and the same type “core” problem in the process of continuous casting production line. it can realize the production line of safe, continuous, stable and high yield, the quality of copper rod is good, the service life of small sizes of casting wheel is long, the wastage amount is small, and the production cost is low.
