Abstract:


Polyphenolic-oxygen resin had the characteristics of high toughness and high softening point. Its blending with thermoplastic phenolic resin can significantly improve the toughness of phenolic resin, enhance the strength and thermal strength at room temperature, and improve the collapsibility of coated sand. The results show that when the resin is mixed with phenolic resin to prepare the coated sand, the tensile strength, bending strength, melting point and breaking rate of the coated sand are increased by 15.2%, 12.8%, 3 ℃ and 20%, respectively, When 10% polyphenoxy resin is added into the resin. which show a good application prospect in aluminum alloy castings
