Abstract:
Lattice structures exhibit a variety of excellent properties due to their complex and changeable structure, indicating enormous market prospects in various industries, such as aerospace, automotive, construction and biomedical industries. However, the difficulty of fabricating lattice structures is a major problem restricting their rapid development. Additive manufacturing technology has facilitated the fabrication of lattice structures. In this work, the influences of the lattice structure design, printing raw materials and printing process parameters on the printability of a structure are summarized and analysed. The results show that the printability of the lattice structure is affected by the lattice type, relative density, pillar inclination, powder type and printing parameters. Finally, a future development direction for improving lattice printability is proposed.
