Abstract：
The important role and characteristics of the First-principle in the study of Al-Si and Al-Mg-Si alloys were analyzed.The research and application status of the First-principle in Al-Si and Al-Mg-Si alloys were reviewed from the aspects of structural stability,mechanical properties and electronic properties of alloys.The research direction of the First-principle in Al-Si and Al-Mg-Si alloys was analyzed.
