Abstract:
The influence of alloying, second phase and heat treatment on the heat resistance of magnesium alloys was discussed. It is suggested to select suitable alloying elements to form hard phases with high thermal stability in the alloy.Controlling the size and distribution of hard phase by alloying and heat treatment is an important means to improve the heat resistance of magnesium alloys.
