Abstract:
The initial residual stress distribution of LZO-8YSZ double ceramic thermal barrier coating was studied by finite element method.The effect of LZO thickness on thermal insulation and initial residual stress field was studied.The results show that stress concentration is easy to form at the edge of the interface.The initial residual stress of LZO-8YSZ double ceramic thermal barrier coating is lower than that of single YSZ ceramic thermal barrier coating and single LZO ceramic thermal barrier coating at the same ceramic thickness.With the increase of LZO thickness,the insulation effect of the coating is better,but the residual stress inside the coating and the interface residual stress are increased correspondingly.When LZO and YSZ thickness is 100μm and 300μm,respectively,the initial residual stress of thermal barrier coating is the lowest.
