Abstract：This paper studies the application principle,technological process and the main performance of the current 3 D sand printer for sand casting and makes analysis on the selection reference and application of 3 D sand printer.The results show that 3 D sand printing technology has its own strengths over the traditional resin sand casting technology.When selecting a appropriate 3 D printing equipment,the enterprise users need to consider comprehensively the characteristics of their own products.The application of 3 D sand printing on casting is relatively mature.
