Application of Corefon Foundry Coatings in China

Abstract：The characteristics of corefon coatings of Italy were analyzed and typical cases in different casting applications were studied. The results show that corefon coatings can improve automobile engine cylinder block cylinder head cleanness of inner chamber, to solve the engineering hydraulic valve body cavity oil adhering sand sintering problems, improve the turbocharger parts turbine spiral case airway smooth finish. After corefon coating is sprayed on the surface of the iron coated sand, the casting surface is smooth, and there is no adhesive sand and no sintering. It does not need manual grinding and special shot blasting treatment. The advantages of corefon coatings in performance are fully reflected, and the problems of sand sticking, sintering and rough surface in the inner cavity of castings in foundry are effectively solved. Corefon coatings are gradually trusted and favored by more foundry enterprises of China.
