Abstract：The causes of shrinkage defect in the lower part of the riser were analyzed. Combined with Pro-CAST simulation technology, the riser process plan was optimized, and the rationality of the process plan was verified by riser comparison, density dissection, machining, radiographic detection, ultrasonic flaw detection, etc. The results show that the foundry shrinkage problem of the base of the long door in the production of ester hardened sodium silicate is solved and the riser shrinkage is fully realized.
