Abstract:Nobake phosphate binder has poor storage stability. On basis of experiments, effects of several factors,i.e., binder compositions, hardener additive and environmental humidity on the strength and strength stability are studied in this paper. Results show that humidity resistance of magnesium modified binder sand in high humidity is improved greatly but in low humidity condition the storage stability is bad when addition amount curing agent is high. In order to ensure the mould sand has high strength and good storage stability in different humidity conditions, it is necessary that binder containing M and curing agent kept a low addition amount.
