Effect of WearResistant Coating Composition on Tribological

Abstract：By the orthogonal test, the optimized wearresistance coatings were investigated. Its compositions are as follows: 40 vol.% SiC particles with size of 80 μm, 1.5 vol.% Cr powder, and the rest of EPS particles. The wear tests showed that the composites had better wearresistance performance when it was coated by the new coating. The effect of the coating compositions on tribological properties of steelbased friction materials were investigated.
